In this video on the PipeDrive CRM, I will take you on a different journey. I will show you how you can create activities in your Pipedrive calendar from your Gmail account. That’s right, Pipedrive inside Gmail.
How to have your Pipedrive “installed” in your Gmail account
Firstly, what you need to do is :
Go to your “tools & integrations” page and click on the marketplace apps option.
Search for Pipedrive – Gmail add-on and install the plug-in.
Once installed, you can then visualise when someone sends you an email if the contact already exists in Pipedrive, if the person has a deal with you or not and much more.
If the contact is part of your database, you can reply to the email and create a follow-up task straight in there.
Not having to leave your Gmail page, open Pipedrive, search for the contact and create this activity “follow-up”.
It’s all done in a few clicks.
But don’t worry if the contact doesn’t exist, you can add the contact into your Pipedrive database from Gmail too, super easy, right ?
Creating an activity
On the Pipedrive add-on tab, you will see the information related to the contact you received an email from.
If what you wish to do is to create an activity for this person, just click add activity.
Select the type of activity you want to schedule for your contact, a time if you wish and link deals and organisations directly if that is the case.
So when you login into your Pipedrive account you will be able to see the activity you just created from your Gmail account.
Nice and easy ! Well, that’s it for today, everyone.
